How to tell us something is wrong, what we do about it, and how corrections are recorded on the page.
Health information that quietly changes is worse than health information that was wrong once and said so. Appetune corrects in public.
How to report something
Email [email protected] with the page address and what you believe is wrong. If you have a source, include it — it speeds things up considerably. You do not need to be a clinician to report an error, and we do not treat reader reports as less credible than expert ones.
What happens next
- Acknowledged within two working days. A real reply, not an autoresponder.
- Assessed. If the claim is potentially harmful, the page is unpublished while we check it rather than left up during the assessment.
- Corrected and dated. A substantive change is noted on the page itself, with the date and what changed.
- Re-reviewed where the substance changed, before it goes back up.
What counts as a correction
A factual error, a misread source, a figure that does not reconcile, a missing or wrongly drawn safety boundary, or guidance that has been overtaken by new official information.
Typos and broken links are fixed without a note. Everything that changes meaning gets one.

This section will list published corrections, most recent first. It is currently empty because Appetune has not yet published advice-bearing pages — see medical review for why.
Safety communications
Where a correction relates to an official safety communication or a label change, it is also recorded in safety updates.
